This started with one build.
A trip to the Dominican Republic, where we helped build a home for a family — and saw firsthand how much a safe place to live changes everything else in someone's life.
Our story
We believe health starts with the basics: a safe home, a caring community, and access to real answers. Everything we publish and every dollar we raise comes back to those three things.
That idea didn't start in a boardroom. It started with a small group of us on a trip to the Dominican Republic, helping build a home for a family who had none. We spent the week working alongside people who had every reason to feel forgotten, and instead found a community that showed up for each other in ways we rarely see back home. On the flight back, the same question kept coming up: why does it take a trip like this to remind us what actually keeps people healthy? We came home and started ThriveTogether.

Stable housing shapes sleep, stress, nutrition, safety and a child's chances decades later. That's why we fundraise for LiveDifferent, a Canadian charity that brings volunteers abroad to build homes with families in developing countries — and to listen and learn while they're there.
